AHEAD Energy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of New York in 1988; located in Rochester, New York.  Our current Annual Report can be found here  and previous years’ reports are available on the GuideStar website or upon request.  IRS form 990 and our most recent audit can be viewed on the GuideStar website along with other information about AHEAD Energy of interest to funders and donors.

AHEAD Energy strives in all regards to implement nonprofit best practices. AHEAD maintains a distinguished Board of Directors that meets regularly.  The Board has adopted policies covering conflict of interest, document retention and destruction, and transparency.  Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, and policies of the corporation are available to the public upon request.

AHEAD Energy receives support from a number of institutions and funders as well as individual donations. Our list of current and past funders includes the Dorothea Haus Ross Foundation, the Anderson Rogers Foundation, the Shell Foundation, the World Bank.

Contribute your time and talent

Whether you have a little time or a lot, are flexible or consistent, AHEAD has volunteer opportunities that will meet your schedule.  We are always looking for individuals with administrative, financial, and special events skills.  Please contact us at info@aheadenergy.org to learn more about specific volunteer opportunities!

Contribute as you surf the internet
